PHONE SYSTEM CABLING

Whether you have a digital phone system, voice over IP phone system or a cloud based phone system, you need cabling to connect the phones to the phone system.

Digital phone systems use minimum of CAT3 standard. Voice over IP (VOIP) phone systems use Ethernet cabling such as CAT5e or CAT6.

We install and maintain structured cabling systems for all types of phone systems. We have experienced and certified cable installers to maintain, install and upgrade phone cabling.

Some companies use shared cable drop for both data (PCs) and the phone for each user.  Other companies maintain two separate cabling infrastructures for data and phones. Each method has its pros and cons. 

Structured cabling provides the required flexibility to use existing cables for either phones or PCs. Properly designed cabling infrastructure can be used to switch between a phone cable drop and a network cable drop.
