There is lot of Hype about the new WiFi standard which is WiFi 6 (6th generation WiFi) . It is also known as by the standard IEEE 802.11ax. How much better is WiFi 6 compared to existing 5th generation WiFi ?.WiFi 6 is capable of providing speeds upto almost 10Gbps . It also can support more devices per Access point . WiFi 6 support both 5GHz and the 2.4 GHz frequencies where as Wifi 5 supports only 5GHz .WiFi 6 also can use multiple spacial streams while preserving the battery on client devices. Another benefit is that with WiFi 6 multiple clients can upload and down load data at the same time. But WiFi 5 does either download or upload at a time.
